Hi, I’m Christina.

I’m a writer and artist, and for a long time, I kept these doodles to myself.

I made them because I loved making them. I drew them for me, then tucked them away. Even after earning an MFA in Painting and Drawing, I wondered if they were “good enough” to share. The funny thing is, they felt like the truest part of me.

I’ve spent much of my life writing about loss, the people we miss, and the lives we can still create after everything changes. One day, I decided to bring those words together with the drawings I had been hiding. That’s when my Deity Doodles came to life.

I believe that we are surrounded by an invisible world, we are never alone and we are always guided. Each deity has its own personality and something to offer. Muse, for example, is a guide for the moments when you’re ready to dream again, even if you’ve been through the unimaginable. I hope you find a doodle here that feels like a companion for wherever you are in your life.

I’m glad I finally let them out into the world. I’m glad you’re here to meet them.
