This is the hardest thing to do — to step away from the good things in your life, to walk away from the many ways you survived and succeeded. But if we don't walk away from what worked in the aftermath of a loss, we can't discover the part of us that is the most real. The person operating this life is most likely not the most authentic; she is the one who did what she could to get through, not what she wanted to do to thrive. There is a big difference. Trust what happens when you create space for your Original Self to step in.
